Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: USA / Beijing

Fly to Beijing, the capital of China.

Day 2: Arrive Beijing

Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 3: Beijing

Visit Tiananmen Square. Stroll through the courtyards and palaces of the imposing Forbidden City, once the exclusive enclave of Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors. Then visit Jingshan park, enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the palace and the city. Then tour Beijing's old Hutong (”narrow lanes”) area by old-fashioned pedicab. Visit a local family living in a court-yard-style home known as Siheyuan. Then enjoy a relax walking tour at Houhai and a Peking Duck Banquet at Quanjude Restaurant.

Day 4: Beijing

Experience the thrill of walking on the Great Wall at Mutianyu, the most beautiful and original part of the wall. Then explore the landscaped grounds and pavilions of the Summer Palace.

Day 5: Beijing

Visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for harvest in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Then visit Beihai Park, the largest royal garden next to the Forbidden City. Enjoy free walking and the night market at Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, downtown Beijing.

Day 6: Beijing / Xian

Take a morning flight to Xi’an, the ancient capital and the starting point of the Silk Road. Visit the Drum Tower and the Ancient City Wall. Then visit the Xi'an Muslim Quarter. An opportunity to mix and deal with one of the Muslim Chinese ethnicities the Huis. Very good shopping opportunities and the place where you have to be a master in haggling (more than anywhere else in China).

Day 7: Xian

Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, buried 2000 years ago to guard the tomb of the first emperor. Then visit the 1350 year old Dacien Temple and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Stage Show tonight.

Day 8: Xi’an / Guilin

Fly to Guilin in the morning. Visit Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 9: Guilin/ Yangshuo

Marvel at the dreamlike landscapes on your Li River cruise. Enjoy a relax lunch on the boat. Arrive Yangshuo town in the afternoon. Then visit Yangshuo Bazaar and Xijie (West Street). Tonight’s dinner is on your own, you can try the local specialties like beer fish and shatian shaddocks at the restaurants on West Street.

Day 10: Yangshuo / Guilin / Hong Kong

Morning flight to Hong Kong. You will be met at the airport and sent to the hotel. At leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 11: Hong Kong

Whether you are visiting Hong Kong for the first time or returning after a long absence, this seat-incoach tour will provide you with a good orientation of Hong Kong Island. The tour circles the beautiful island with a panoramic Peak Tram ride up to the Victoria Peak and Sky Terrace 428 viewing platform, where the harbour and the city sprawl in front of you. Tour continues to Aberdeen Fishing Village, home of “Boat People” whose lifestyle has not changed much since the early days of their settlement in Hong Kong (optional sampan ride own expense). En route, you will be able to view the most popular beach in town, the Repulse Bay Beach, and pay a visit to an exquisite QTS award jewellery factory - TSL, the receiptian of the Outstanding QTS Merchant Award for more than 10 years and counting, where the world’s famous jewellery-setting art is made. You will finish your tour of Hong Kong Island by visiting Stanley Market, where you can stroll through Stanley’s famous seaside village bazaar.

Day 12: Hong Kong / Shanghai

Fly to Shanghai in the morning. Visit Nanjing road and take a walk along the Bund, Shanghai’s graceful and historic waterfront boulevard.

Day 13: Shanghai

Visit the Old City Bazaar and the tranquil Yu Yuan Garden. Enjoy a traditional Shanghai Dumpling lunch. Bus tour of Pudong District. Take a picture of the highest tower of Asia, the Oriental Pearl Tower. Then visit Binjiang Park.
