Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1: USA / Beijing
Fly to Beijing, the capital of China.

Day 2: Arrive Beijing
Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 3: Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square. Stroll through the courtyards and palaces of the imposing Forbidden City, once the exclusive enclave of Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors. Then visit Jingshan park, enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the palace and the city. Then tour Beijing's old Hutong (”narrow lanes”) area by old fashioned pedicab. Visit a local family living in a court-yard-style home known as Siheyuan. Then enjoy a relax walking tour at Houhai and a Peking Duck Banquet at Quanjude Restaurant.

Day 4: Beijing
Experience the thrill of walking on the Great Wall at Mutianyu, the most beautiful and original part of the wall (Optional: You can take the cable car up and slide down on a summer toboggan). Then explore the landscaped grounds and pavilions of the Summer Palace.

Day 5: Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for harvest in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Then visit Beihai Park, the largest royal garden next to the Forbidden City. Enjoy free walking and the night market at Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, downtown Beijing.

Day 6: Beijing / Xi'an
Take a morning flight to Xi’an, the ancient capital and the starting point of the Silk Road. Visit the Drum Tower and the Ancient City Wall. Then visit the Xi'an Muslim Quarter. An opportunity to mix and deal with one of the Muslim Chinese ethnicities the Huis. Very good shopping opportunities and the place where you have to be a master in haggling (more than anywhere else in China).

Day 7: Xi'an
Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, buried 2000 years ago to guard the tomb of the first emperor. Then visit the 1350 year old Dacien Temple and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Stage Show tonight.
